Toddler dies in Citrus County car crash: FHP
A tragic car accident in Citrus County on Monday evening resulted in the death of a 1-year-old child and serious injuries to a man, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash occurred around 7 p.m. on N. Croft Ave. in the Inverness Highlands North area, when a 32-year-old man lost control of his Chrysler 200, colliding with a utility pole, tree, and guide wires. Both the man and the child were taken to the hospital with severe injuries, but unfortunately, the child did not survive. The Florida Highway Patrol has not disclosed the identities of the individuals involved.
