Three-vehicle crash injures one on I-55 near Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) -- One person has been injured after a three-vehicle crash near Lexington on Friday. The Illinois State Police responded to a crash involving two commercial vehicles and a passenger vehicle near milepost 179 on Interstate 55 around 3:14 p.m., said Tropper Caleb Billingsley, an ISP Spokesperson. Billingsley confirmed that at least one person has been injured. The southbound lane of I-55 has been shut down due to the crash, and that traffic is being diverted onto Route 66 at milepost 187.
