
Three-Vehicle Crash in Polk County Ends Tragically
One individual was killed in a multiple-vehicle collision on Highway 35 near Luck, as reported by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred on July 6, 2025, when a Toyota pickup slowed down to turn left onto 240th Avenue and was rear-ended by a Chevrolet Silverado. Following the impact, the Toyota veered into the opposite traffic lane and was struck by an oncoming Dodge Ram. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, the Toyota driver tragically succumbed to their injuries. The identity of the deceased driver will be disclosed at a later time. Emergency response assistance at the accident scene was provided by the Luck Fire Department, Milltown Fire Department, Northwestern Municipal EMS, Lakes Region EMS, and the Polk County Medical Examiner’s Office, in collaboration with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office as per Sheriff Brent Waak.
