Three still in critical condition after skydiving plane crash in New Jersey.
Three individuals are in critical condition following a plane crash at a small airport in Williamstown, New Jersey. The aircraft, carrying 15 people, encountered problems shortly after take-off and crashed while returning to the airport. Emergency responders swiftly arrived at Cross Keys Airport, responding to the chaotic scene of the crash. Fourteen individuals were hospitalized, with three of them being airlifted to Cooper University Hospital and then transferred to Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill. The Monroe Township Police Chief John McBride described it as a scene "out of a movie," emphasizing the unprecedented nature of the incident in his 27-year career. Eight victims are still receiving treatment at Cooper. Despite the uncertainty surrounding the cause of the crash, details are anticipated from an ongoing FAA investigation. The efficient response to the crash is attributed to a recent emergency drill conducted at the airport for a similar scenario. Authorities continue to assess the crash site, and as of now, there are no reported changes to the upcoming skydiving event scheduled at Cross Keys Airport.
