Three Semi-Trucks Crash on I-20 at Washington St. Exit
In Vicksburg, Mississippi, a recent accident caused a collision between three 18-wheelers on Interstate 20 near the Washington Street exit. The incident occurred just before 4 p.m. in the westbound lane of I-20, involving a red flatbed and a yellow cattle hauler, with a white 18-wheeler also being impacted. Luckily, there were no injuries reported, including to the cattle. However, traffic congestion has built up beyond Indiana Avenue, leading to significant delays for those traveling westbound towards Louisiana. Those planning to head west on I-20 are advised to use the Washington Street entrance instead. Vicksburg Police Department's Traffic 3, Michael Battle, is on-site, and the Vicksburg Fire Department is helping contain toxic spills from one of the vehicles.
