Three people killed in Genesee County crash
Stafford, N.Y. — Three people were killed in a one-car crash in Stafford early Sunday morning. Genesee County Sheriff deputies responded to Prole Road in Stafford just a little after 2 a.m. for a report of a crash. Deputies said 23-year-old Joseph A. Martinez of Pavilion, 23-year-old Dylan Pehrson, and 22-year-old Meghan Merrell, both of Batavia, were all pronounced dead on the scene. An investigation determined that a 2012 Nissan Altima was traveling northbound on Prole Road when the car went off the roadway, striking a tree and coming to a rest, according to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office. The crash is still under investigation. _________
