KIRKWOOD, N.Y. - Three people were injured in a car crash on State Route 11 when a Hyundai failed to yield the right of way to a Ford. The incident occurred near the Conklin-Kirkwood bridge on June 24 around 4:20 p.m. The individuals involved were Denise M. Ellis from Binghamton, Nora Mary Gibson, and a male companion from Catawissa, PA. They were taken to Wilson Medical Center for treatment, with authorities stating that the injuries are not life-threatening.
