Three people hurt in Bondurant car accident
A rollover accident occurred on NE Hubbell Avenue in Bondurant, resulting in injuries and the closure of a section of the road on Thursday morning. The Polk County Sheriff's Office reported that the crash involved a single vehicle and took place in the 8200 block of NE Hubbell Avenue at approximately 7:30 a.m. Three occupants, two men, and a woman, were taken to nearby hospitals for medical care. The men sustained minor injuries, while the woman was critically injured. Initially, both north and southbound lanes of NE Hubbell between 94th Avenue and NE 78th Avenue were shut down as investigators conducted their examination of the crash site. Lt. Mark Chance from the PCSO confirmed that the southbound lanes reopened by 10:30 a.m., followed by the northbound lanes at 11:30 a.m. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
