Three men killed in Vallejo crash
(KRON) — Three men were killed after a car crashed into the back of a parked vehicle in Vallejo Saturday. The crash happened near Sonoma Boulevard at Valle Vista Avenue at about 3:07 a.m. Vallejo Police Department officers arrived at the scene and found all three victims unresponsive. No one was inside the parked vehicle at the time of the crash. “The occupied vehicle sustained significant damage and contained three adult male occupants who were unresponsive inside,” Vallejo PD said. Vallejo PD officers removed the rear passenger from the vehicle and attempted to give them emergency medical care. The Vallejo Fire Department was called to the crash to extricate the driver and front passenger from the wreck. All three men were pronounced dead at the scene. It’s unclear if alcohol or any other drugs were a factor in the crash, Vallejo PD said. Officials are awaiting toxicology results. Vallejo PD and the Solano County Sheriff’s Office are working to confirm the identities of the men. The Vallejo PD Traffic Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
