Three injured in rollover accident on Route 72 in Plainville
Authorities in Plainville, Connecticut are currently looking into a serious two-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday evening on Route 72. The collision involved a 2019 Nissan Altima S and a 2013 Lexus CT200 traveling side-by-side before the Lexus unexpectedly veered into another lane, crashing into the Nissan. The impact of the crash left one passenger in the Lexus with serious injuries, requiring transportation to Hartford Hospital via helicopter. Thankfully, the children in the Nissan were unharmed, and the operator only sustained minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
