Three individuals taken to hospital following multiple-vehicle collision in Berlin
A traffic accident on Route 22 in Berlin led to the closure of all lanes between Airport Road and Sandbank Road at 7 a.m., but the road has since been reopened, according to the Berlin Fire Department. As per the fire department's assistant chief, a report of a two-car collision was received at 7:10 a.m. Three individuals were taken to the hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash, though the severity of their injuries is not known. The Berlin Central School District had planned a mock accident event for prom promise at 9:15 a.m., but the event has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.
