Three individuals taken into custody after fatal drunk driving collision in Arlington, law enforcement reports

Three individuals have been apprehended and charged in connection with a fatal DWI collision in Arlington, according to authorities. The incident occurred near Bowen Road on eastbound I-20 when a pickup truck collided with a car, resulting in the car catching fire and tragically claiming the life of a 22-year-old man. The car had been stationary on the inside shoulder of the interstate when the pickup veered off the road and struck it. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the three occupants of the pickup fleeing the scene, but they were later apprehended by law enforcement. The driver of the pickup, 25-year-old Cesar Ramirez Castro, was arrested for intoxication manslaughter and collision involving death after failing a sobriety test. The passengers, Marcelino Ramirez-Ramirez and Castro Zammarron, were booked for public intoxication. The victim's identity will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office.
