Three dead in South Augusta fiery crash
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - The Richmond County Coroner’s Office and the Sheriff's Office responded to Tobacco Road and Morgan Road in reference to 2 car collision Wednesday night at 11: 17. Authorities say a vehicle headed west on Tobacco Road crashed into a 2nd vehicle turning left from Morgan Road onto Tobacco Road. Two victims died in the Tobacco Road vehicle and one person died in the vehicle turning left from Morgan Road. The Coroner said that positive ID's will have to be made on the victims from the Tobacco Road vehicle due to fire. The names of the deceased will be released once the victims have been identified and next of kin notified.
