Three children killed in West Bloomfield house fire, no charges to be filed
The parents of three children who tragically lost their lives in a house fire earlier this year in West Bloomfield will not be charged, as announced by the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office. Hannah, Jeremiah, and Jacob were unable to escape the fire that engulfed their Pembury Lane home on Feb. 2. The parents took precautions to safeguard Jacob and Jeremiah, who both had autism, with security measures in place. The Prosecutor stated that the deaths of the children were determined to be a terrible accident, with no criminal intent involved. The prosecutor highlighted that the parents had taken loving and informed actions to protect their children, emphasizing that this was not a criminal matter but a tragic event where the parents did their best to care for their family in difficult circumstances.
