Three-car collision injures two on Indianapolis' near northwest area
Emergency responders were called to a three-vehicle collision on the near northwest side of Indianapolis, where two individuals were hospitalized. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon on W. 16th Street. A dump truck collided with two vehicles, resulting in one vehicle flipping and the dump truck tipping on its side. Onlookers assisted the female driver from the overturned vehicle, while the drivers of the other two vehicles managed to exit by themselves. The dump truck driver was evaluated on-site and released, while the other two drivers were taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment. The condition of the hospitalized individuals has not been disclosed, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
