The three theories on the New York helicopter crash: drone interference, bird collision, or engine malfunction
The recent tragic helicopter accident in New York, resulting in the loss of lives of Agustin Escobar, Merce Camprubi, their three children, and pilot Seankese Johnson, remains under investigation. Mayor Steven M. Fulop of Jersey City has shared different theories being considered by authorities, including potential involvement of birds, drones, or mechanical failure. He stated during a press conference that a team of 17 individuals is actively working near the Hudson River to gather additional information and determine the exact cause of the incident. Mayor Fulop emphasized the challenging conditions faced by fire department divers due to the river’s poor visibility and rocky terrain. The investigation continues, with officials refraining from speculating on the accident's causes at this time. Agustin Escobar, who was on a business trip from Spain, had decided to travel with his family – in honor of one of their birthdays – following a visit to Siemens' offices in Pittsburgh. President Trump also extended condolences to the families and friends of the victims, expressing sorrow over the tragic event.
