Teens hospitalized after serious horse and buggy, truck collision

The Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating an accident that occurred on Wednesday evening involving a horse and buggy and a pickup truck. The collision took place at around 5:15 p.m. on Bell Road near Sproul Road in Colerain Township. According to authorities, the pickup truck was headed south on Bell Road when it collided with the horse and buggy carrying two 19-year-olds and a two-year-old. Both teenagers from the buggy were hospitalized, with the operator airlifted to Hershey Medical Center in critical condition, and the passenger taken to ChristianaCare Christiana Hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the two-year-old and the truck driver were unharmed in the incident. Although the road was closed for several hours following the crash, it has since reopened.
