Teenagers' $300,000 bail set for fatal crash near 35th and Vliet

During the hearing, a judge set her bail at $300,000. The incident took place near 35th and Vliet last week, resulting in multiple charges against the teenager driver, Deshauna Egerson. The incident unfolded when the police pursued an SUV without license plates speeding down Center Street near Sherman. The pursuit ended in a collision at 35th and Vliet, claiming three lives and leaving two others with serious injuries. Egerson confessed to driving the SUV but stated she did not stop because a passenger allegedly threatened her with a gun. She also indicated that she intentionally crashed the vehicle into a sedan to avoid continuing at high speeds.
