Teenager named in Santa Ana crash that claimed 5 lives

Authorities have identified a fifth victim of a tragic traffic accident that occurred in Santa Ana over the weekend. The latest victim, 13-year-old Cinthia Torres of Santa Ana, was pronounced dead on Wednesday night. Another victim, 16-year-old Jacqueline Torres Zarate, was identified earlier. The three remaining victims were identified as 17-year-old Natalia Vidal Zarate, 18-year-old Emanuel Gonzalez Martinez, and 20-year-old Arely Robles, all from Santa Ana. Martinez was driving during the crash, which took place late Saturday on Segerstrom Avenue. The vehicle, a four-door Lexus sedan, was speeding and hit a tree, resulting in the death of five people. One 15-year-old girl is still recovering in the hospital. The crash, which took the lives of two adults and three teenagers from Santa Ana, remains under investigation. Initial findings suggest that speed played a significant role in the tragedy.
