Teenager killed in car crash after reckless driving, Middlesex DA reports
An 18-year-old man tragically passed away following a motorcycle accident in Belmont, Massachusetts. The Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan confirmed the incident. On Tuesday morning, Belmont police noticed a moped being operated recklessly on the wrong side of Trapelo Road. The operator, also an 18-year-old from Watertown, did not stop despite police trying to pull him over. The moped continued down Belmont Street, turned onto Stults Road, and collided with a Honda CR-V on Fairview Avenue, resulting in the moped operator being taken to a local hospital where he was declared deceased. The driver of the Honda sustained minor injuries and was also taken to a nearby hospital.
