Teenager in Macoupin County dies in farming mishap: Sheriff
A tragic incident occurred in Virden, Illinois, where a teenager lost his life in a farm machinery accident. The authorities were informed about the incident at around 11 a.m., and upon reaching the farm, they found 16-year-old Nolan Kiel deceased. Reports from the sheriff's department reveal that Kiel was operating the farm machinery at the time of the incident. A preliminary autopsy conducted on Aug. 13 by the Macoupin County Coroner's Office indicates that Kiel passed away from asphyxiation. The Macoupin County Sheriff's Department and coroner's office are currently investigating the fatal accident.
