Teenager flown to hospital after ATV incident in Saratoga County

According to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, there was an ATV accident early Sunday morning in Providence, N.Y., involving two teenagers who were subsequently hospitalized. The incident occurred off Clark Road and was responded to by the sheriff's office at around 4:56 a.m. Initial findings indicate that a 16-year-old girl lost control of the ATV, leading to a collision with an earth embankment. The teenager was ejected and had to be airlifted to Albany Medical Center due to a serious lower extremity injury. An 18-year-old female passenger was also ejected but had less severe injuries and was taken to Saratoga Hospital for treatment. The crash is currently being investigated to determine the cause.
