Teen suffered traumatic injuries in Colleton County ATV accident, officials say
COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – An ATV crash in Colleton County left a teenager with traumatic injuries, fire-rescue officials say. The accident happened at a home off Haymakers Lane and Jones Swamp Road around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. A 911 call reported that an ATV rolled over onto a 16-year-old, according to Colleton County Fire Rescue. The teenager was treated at the scene and then airlifted to the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. The teenager’s current condition is unknown.
