Teen passenger dies in crash, 2 young occupants flee scene, authorities report
A tragic crash in Houston resulted in the death of a 14-year-old on Saturday night. The incident took place on W. Fuqua Street when a vehicle carrying three juveniles collided with a tree. The driver and front-seat passenger initially fled the scene but came back later. Authorities believe the driver lost control of the vehicle for reasons that are still under investigation. The Harris County District Attorney's Office is considering charges against the two surviving juveniles for not stopping to help. The names of those involved have not been made public.
