Teen killed in car crash in Leoni Township
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)-- The Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety confirmed a 17-year-old was killed in a car crash overnight. Officials say the crash happened around midnight on Page Avenue near Portage Road in Leoni Township. The 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and the passenger, a minor, was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition. DPS says they are working to figure out what happened. They say investigators are determining if speed, drugs, or alcohol contributed to the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call the Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety at 517-788-4223.
