Teen from Watertown dies in Shields fatal collision
A teenager from Watertown tragically lost their life in a car accident in the Town of Shields on Saturday evening. The incident occurred when the 18-year-old driver's 2006 Acura sedan veered off County Road Q near Pit Road and collided with multiple trees before coming to a halt about 50 yards into a wooded area. Despite the efforts of emergency responders from various agencies, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet disclosed the identity of the driver as investigations into the crash continue.
