Teen from Laurel dies in single-vehicle crash on I-90
A young 17-year-old boy from Laurel tragically passed away in the early hours of Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 90. According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the teenager was driving a Ford Focus eastbound just past midnight when he failed to navigate a curve near the west Laurel exit. The vehicle struck a median post, veered back onto the road, and overturned multiple times, resulting in the teen being thrown from the car. Sadly, he was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities suspect that alcohol and drugs may have been contributing factors, as per the report.
