Teen driver dies in fatal accident on U.S. 400
A 19-year-old woman from Kansas tragically lost her life in a rollover crash in southeast Kansas on Saturday morning. The incident occurred at around 6:00 a.m. on U.S. 400, about 2 miles east of Baxter Springs. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the driver, Meredith Wagner, was driving a 1994 Chevrolet Blazer west on U.S. 400 when the vehicle veered off the road, overcorrected, crossed the highway, and went off the road again. The car overturned, and Wagner was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
