Teen dies in rollover crash in Adair County
A 17-year-old is dead after a crash in Adair County over the weekend.The crash happened Saturday night just east of Anita. An Iowa State Patrol crash report shows a Chevrolet Equinox left the road, rolled over and landed in the ditch. Five people inside the car were taken to the hospital. One teen later died from their injuries.According to the latest data from the Iowa Department of Transportation, 131 people have died so far this year on Iowa roads. That number is 12 more than at the same point in 2025. Over the last five years, an average of 337 people have been killed in statewide crashes annually.
