Teen dies in Peloponnese car accident
A tragic car accident in Laconia, southern Greece, resulted in the death of a young person on Sunday. The incident took place on the local road connecting Paleopanagia and Xirokampi when a 62-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to hit an olive tree. The car was carrying a 59-year-old woman and a young passenger who sustained injuries and were hospitalized at Sparta General Hospital. Sadly, the minor passed away due to the injuries. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances leading to the accident, with the Sparta Traffic Department overseeing the inquiry.
