A 14-year-old boy has passed away a few days after a tragic electric bicycle incident in Chino Hills. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department was informed about the accident, which involved two boys on a shared e-bike at the intersection of Rock Springs Drive and Oakland Way. Both boys were not wearing the required helmets for their age, as mentioned by deputies. While one boy had minor injuries and was treated at the scene, the other boy was critically injured and was taken to Pomona Valley Medical Center. Unfortunately, the second boy, whose identity has not been disclosed, did not survive the injuries. Authorities did not provide details about the exact injuries or the timing of his passing.
