Teen dies after car pins him at private school; 5 others injured
A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at Campbell Hall, a private school in Studio City. A 15-year-old boy lost his life, and five others were injured in a collision in the school's parking lot. The Los Angeles Police Department received a report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian at 3:10 p.m. The boy was hit by a green 2025 Rivian SUV and trapped against a white SUV. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Two minors and three adults suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Aerial footage revealed a three-vehicle pileup, indicating that the Rivian caused the incident. The driver's identity and cause of the collision are still unknown. The L.A. County Supervisor expressed condolences, and the Mayor's Crisis Response Team provided support to those affected. Campbell Hall is a prestigious school with well-known alumni, but they have not commented on the tragic event.
