Teen declared dead after motorcycle crash per Columbus PD
A teenager from Columbus tragically passed away following a motorcycle incident over the weekend. Columbus Police Department officials responded to reports of a potential crash near State Street and Fairview Drive at 8:13 a.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, they found a Suzuki motorcycle and its rider, identified as 19-year-old Isai Quintana-Solis. The circumstances surrounding the motorcycle veering off the road are currently under investigation. The Bartholomew County Coroner's Office confirmed that Quintana-Soliz died from blunt force trauma in an accidental manner. Toxicology tests are still pending. A specialized accident reconstruction team, comprising members from both the Columbus Police Department and Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office, is working to determine the timeline and contributing factors of the crash.
