
Teen charged after vehicle crashes into senior housing injuring one resident, police say
A teen has been charged after their vehicle hit a senior-living facility in Greenville, South Carolina, and left one resident injured. (Video above shows the scene around 12:30 p.m.) The vehicle hit a building at Brockwood Senior Housing on West Washington Street on Thursday. Greenville police said a teen was driving and looked down. When the teenager looked down while driving, they went off the road and hit the building.The teen has been charged with reckless driving, according to police. Sky 4 video shows a hole in the side of one of the buildings. A resident of the senior housing was taken to the hospital for treatment.According to the victim, he has returned from the hospital and is doing better. He said it is "just soreness."The victim said he will be getting another unit across the street.We will continue to update this story as we learn more.
