Teen boy killed, preteen girl hurt in Lebanon accident
A tragic accident on I-65 in Lebanon resulted in the death of a 14-year-old boy and injuries to a 12-year-old girl on Friday. The Lebanon Police Department responded to the scene just before 5 p.m. where they found two individuals ejected from the vehicle. The area was closed off as first responders worked to provide aid and lifesaving measures. The girl, who was conscious and breathing, was taken to a hospital in Indianapolis, while the boy sadly did not survive his injuries. The driver, identified as 35-year-old Taylor Kammes, underwent a blood draw at the hospital as part of the investigation. The crash is still being looked into, and authorities are asking for any additional information from the public.
