Teen apprehended in deadly Madera County DUI collision.
A 19-year-old man is facing charges of driving under the influence and causing a deadly accident in Madera County. The California Highway Patrol reported that the driver lost control of his vehicle, a 2005 Nissan Altima, on Road 35, resulting in a crash that led to the death of a 20-year-old male passenger. The driver was arrested at the scene and is currently hospitalized with serious injuries. Once cleared, he will be transferred to Madera County Jail.
