TDOT closes Highway 11E after deadly motorcycle accident in Jonesborough
A tragic multiple-vehicle accident has led to the closure of both directions of Highway 11E near Grandview Elementary School in Jonesborough, Tennessee. The Washington County Sheriff's Office has confirmed one fatality from the accident. The road closure will remain in effect until a specialized crash investigation team finishes their work. The Tennessee Department of Transportation released that the incident took place at 2:02 p.m., with TDOT's Mark Nagi indicating that a motorcycle was part of the collision.
