Tampa Police Save Child from Car Accident
The Tampa Police Department is emphasizing the importance of wearing seat belts following a recent incident where officers rescued a child from a car crash. The officers responded to a collision on East Fowler Avenue where one car was perched on top of another. Body cam footage shows an officer managing to help the occupants safely exit the vehicles. Despite the precarious situation, everyone was wearing seat belts and suffered only minor injuries. Reflecting on the incident, TPD highlighted the importance of seat belt use, stating, "Real heroes don’t wear capes, they buckle up! Be your own hero. Buckle up, every ride, every time." The cause of the crash remains unclear.
