SUV flips over with driver trapped inside post stolen vehicle collision in Los Angeles
A serious accident involving a stolen pickup truck caused an innocent driver's vehicle to flip over in the Historic South-Central area of Los Angeles on Friday morning. The police had initiated a pursuit of the stolen truck early that morning near downtown Los Angeles, but had to call off the chase due to the reckless behavior of the suspect. Shortly after, less than two miles away, the suspect crashed the truck into a dark SUV at East Washington Boulevard and Trinity Street, causing the SUV to end up overturned in an empty lot. Fortunately, the driver of the overturned vehicle escaped and received medical treatment at the crash site, with no serious injuries reported. The suspect was apprehended and taken to a hospital for treatment before being booked into the City Jail.
