Suspect wanted after fatal hit-and-run in Albuquerque
A search for a wanted suspect is underway after a bicyclist was hit and killed in southeast Albuquerque.Police are searching for Jose Ivan Rios Sanchez for his role in the fatal crash. It happened in the area of Kathryn Avenue and Carlisle Boulevard on Jan. 19.Witnesses told responding officers a vehicle driver hit the bicycle and left the area. The bicyclist died at the scene.The Albuquerque Police Department's Motors Unit investigated the deadly hit-and-run.Sanchez was identified as the suspect by the Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers on Monday, March 24.
