A man in Grand Junction, Colorado, was recently arrested and then released with a summons due to his involvement in a deadly accident that occurred almost seven months ago. The Grand Junction Police Department reported that Jack Gallegos, 78, was charged with careless driving resulting in death. The incident took place on December 26, when a vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 70B collided with a truck turning east onto I70B from the frontage road near the 28 Road intersection, resulting in a fatal injury to the driver.
