
Suspect arrested for allegedly admitting to fleeing scene of deadly crash in Plano
A man was taken into custody by the Richardson Police Department after reportedly admitting to fleeing the scene of a deadly accident that took the life of a woman early Saturday morning. The incident occurred on North Central Expressway where a motorcycle driven by Cody Morris, 27, from Plano, was involved in the crash. Sadly, Morris was pronounced dead on-site. The driver of the other vehicle involved, identified as Kelvin Joseph Jr., 25, from Allen, contacted the Plano Police Department shortly after the incident to reveal his role in the crash. Upon investigation, officers noticed signs of intoxication and subsequently arrested Joseph on charges of driving under the influence and being part of an accident resulting in injury or death. The Richardson Police Department has launched a Special Crash Investigation Team to look into the matter further.
