SUN: Ambulance involved in 5-vehicle crash in Bel Air on Tuesday

A Harford County ambulance and four other vehicles collided at the intersection of Belair Road and North Tollgate Road in Bel Air on Tuesday morning, police said; no life-threatening injuries were reported. EMS personnel and a patient in the ambulance that crashed were evaluated at a local hospital, according to a social media post from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. Three others involved in the crash were taken to a hospital for treatment. The crash occurred at 8:22 a.m., according to a social media post by Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. Bel Air Police and Maryland State Police also responded. Harford Emergency Medical Services requested a Medevac helicopter, but later cancelled it, according to their social media.
