Summerville cop in crash, authorities report
A motorcycle officer of the Summerville Police Department was in a crash on Friday on Berlin G Myers Parkway and Grandview near Sonic Drive-In. The officer was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that are currently unknown. Fortunately, the officer is conscious and communicating. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is looking into the incident, but information is limited at this time.
