Student sent to hospital after accident involving school bus in Allegheny County
A student was sent to the hospital Tuesday afternoon following an accident involving a school bus in McKeesport. Sky 4 video: Police on scene following accident involving school bus, student In a statement from the McKeesport Area School District's Superintendent Donald MacFann, first responders were called to the corner of Soles Street and Stewart Street following reports of an elementary school student involved in an accident with a school bus. The superintendent said the student was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The student's parents have been notified of the incident. "We understand this news is deeply concerning and want to assure you that a full investigation is underway," MacFann said. "Thank you for your support and understanding during this time."Sky 4, Pittsburgh's only news chopper, flew over the scene where police could be seen evaluating the front of the school bus.
