Street in Abilene closed due to gas leak from accident
A gas leak caused by an accident on Friday evening has led to the closure of a street in South Abilene. Memorial Drive to Fairway Oaks Boulevard has been blocked off while the Abilene Fire Department and Atmos Energy work to fix the leak. Originally expected to take one hour, the repair is now estimated to take approximately seven hours.
