Statement issued by Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office about fatal car crash
The Raleigh County Sheriff's Office provided an update regarding the investigation into a tragic car accident that took place earlier this year. The statement, shared on the sheriff's office's official Facebook page, reveals that the incident involving Baylea Bower on April 20th, 2025 is currently under investigation. The post mentioned that evidence has been collected and sent for analysis at the WV State Police Forensics Lab, while additional records have been requested from the Circuit Court of Raleigh County, awaiting their return. The sheriff's office assured that once all evidence has been thoroughly examined and the requested records are received, appropriate charges will be brought forth in the case. Lieutenant Jason L. Redden, a seasoned investigator with over 22 years of experience, is overseeing the investigation, in consultation with the Raleigh County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
