Statement from Raleigh County Sheriff's Office on Fatal Car Crash
Previous Coverage: Earlier this year, the community came together in Boone County to honor the life of a young businesswoman. The Raleigh County Sheriff's Office provided an update on the investigation into a tragic car accident involving Baylea Bower on April 20, 2025. The sheriff's office revealed on their Facebook page that evidence from the accident has been sent to the WV State Police Forensics Lab for analysis. Additional records are being sought through the Circuit Court of Raleigh County, with charges expected once all evidence is reviewed. The investigation is being led by Lieutenant Jason L.
