Stacey Tourout Briefly Survived Tragic Accident Involving Matthew Yeomans
Stacey Tourout, an influencer, was briefly conscious after the off-roading accident that tragically took the life of her fiancé, Matthew Yeomans. The manager of the Kaslo Search and Rescue (SAR) team, Mark Jennings-Bates, shared that when their team arrived at the scene, Stacey was awake despite suffering a severe head injury. She was airlifted to a local hospital but unfortunately passed away later. Matthew, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, had no signs of life when found by the rescue team. The accident occurred on a challenging backcountry trail with rough terrain, where their vehicle plummeted around 656 feet down a steep boulder field. Jennings-Bates explained that the lack of trees in that specific spot meant there was nothing to cushion their fall. The couple's families announced their passing on August 11, stating that they had tragically succumbed to their injuries. The Kaslo SAR team confirmed the incident involving the YouTube couple, who were known for their channel Toyota World Runners.
