Springville car crash claims one life, driver suspected of DUI
Police are advising the public to steer clear of the 400 South and 40 East area in Springville due to a fatal car crash. The driver is suspected to have been intoxicated. At 6:39 p.m., authorities were alerted to a pedestrian-involved accident, where a truck veered off the road at the mentioned intersection, hitting a man on the sidewalk. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The driver, who was alone in the truck, is believed to have been drinking at the time.
